D’Antilles et D’Ailleurs runs local initiatives, including actions and projects aimed at strengthening the knowledge, skills and capacities of women victims of violence, as well as young people in highly vulnerable situations. These initiatives aim to promote their socio-economic integration. At a European level, the organization implements projects, notably linked to the ongoing training of professionals involved in their support.
In addition, D’Antilles et D’Ailleurs operates in South and Central America, as well as in the Greater Caribbean, through exchange initiatives and collaborations with local civil society organizations. These initiatives are designed to support, raise awareness and provide information to women in situations of violence.
Our approach is based on a popular education methodology, enriched by action research, which enables us to analyze in depth the causes and consequences of violence against women. We pay particular attention to the multiple forms of discrimination that exacerbate their marginalization.
