In&Out : Stimulate the integration of young people and disadvantaged migrants through cultural activities and volunteering
Five partner organizations: ADILES (Guadeloupe - French RUP), Cesie (Italy), DUG (Sweden), Beecom (Italy), Jarit (Spain) directly concerned by the unemployment and migrant crisis designed the "In&Out" project which aims to develop and make available for professionals involved with young people and migrants, educational and training tools on the support of young people and migrants towards volunteering engagement.
Convinced that the transfer of innovations, the sharing of good practices and the coordination of efforts are potentially more effective in improving the conditions for the integration of young migrants and in fostering their civic engagement in the host country, the partners will pool their knowledge and experience in order to develop open access methodological tools that will strengthen and develop the skills and methodologies of youth workers and foster the civic participation of young people and migrants.
Project tools and methodologies
1) Virtual Pedagogical Resource Center dedicated to volunteering through culture
2) E-learning training in the form of modules enabling professionals to develop their skills and knowledge, needed to support migrant audiences and encourage them to volunteer in cultural activities.
3) Storytelling testimonial videos: Toolbox
4 & 5) Workshops around cultural / artistic activities (theater, dance, photography, ...)
6) An action research from which will result a Guide of good practices dedicated to the accompaniment of migrants towards the cultural and voluntary engagement.
