General objectives of the seminar:
To develop networks and increase skills for youth leaders and facilitators in the challenges and causes of violence against women, to provide them with the tools to facilitate their empowerment, all while strengthening cross-disciplinary skills and the entrepreneurial spirit of female victims of violence.
This seminar, held in Gosier (Guadeloupe), is aimed at experienced youth workers, social workers and volunteers who wanted to acquire key competences in promoting social inclusion processes through the professional inclusion of women, disadvantaged girls, and victims of violence. It brought together participants from 8 different countries in Europe and the Mediterranean (France - Guadeloupe, Greece, Estonia, Sweden, Spain, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and Turkey). The partners were chosen in terms of their skills and experience in the field of support for young women with fewer opportunities.
The seminar was directed at people working professionally and directly with underprivileged women and youths (educators, teachers, social workers, and youth workers) faced with gender-related violence, discrimination, and exclusion.
